Does the terrain affect the choice of wire mesh?

Yes, the shape of the terrain plays an important role in choosing the right wire mesh. On flat ground, a standard wire mesh is usually sufficient. However, for sloping terrain, a specially adapted mesh is necessary to ensure it fits snugly along the contours of the land.

Fix-Knot Wire Mesh

Fix-Knot Wire Mesh

The special knot and the connection between the vertical and horizontal wires provide much greater flexibility. It has a very high resistance to bending while remaining highly flexible.

Applications:

Sloping terrains
Embankments

Features and Dimensions:

Standard wire thickness for vertical and horizontal wires: 2.5 mm
Standard knot wire diameter: 2.24 mm
Wires are triple-layer galvanized: this minimizes galvanic shrinkage cracks during production and extends the product's lifespan
Wires have very high tensile strength, allowing for smaller wire diameters. This reduces the amount of metal needed to construct the fence while maintaining the same strength.

Tip:
In our range, we also offer a wire mesh type where all wires have a diameter of 3 mm. The spacing between horizontal wires is 20 cm.
